Carol is survived by her husband, William F Rogers; son, Brian Garrett Rogers; sister, Cathy Eddins (Glenn) Talbot; niece and nephew, Lindsey Carol Talbot, Fuller Talbot and her numerous cousins.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Robert B Eddins and Cecile Eddins Davis; and her beloved dog, Gracie.
Carol attended Murphy High School and was a member of the Delta Beta Sigma sorority and graduated in 1969. She then attended the University of South Alabama where she graduated with honors and received a teaching degree in Elementary Education. She taught for over 46 years in the various places she and her husband lived.
Carol attended Dauphin Way Baptist Church growing up and later Grace Fellowship Church in Bradenton, Fl where her husband was pastor for 14 years. Carol’s strong faith in her Savior Jesus Christ has sustained her throughout her life, especially during her illness from 2019 -2023.

A visitation for Carol will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 DAUPHIN ISLAND PKWY, MOBILE, AL 36605. Following the visitation will be a funeral service beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
