Carol Jean Peters passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024 at the age of 65, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and unshakable faith. Carol was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to leave a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She never met a stranger, finding joy in making friends everywhere she went.
A devoted lover of books, Carol could often be found immersed in a good story, and she shared her passion for reading with those around her. She cherished her time at Bible study, where her faith grew stronger and her community deeper. Her enthusiasm for social gatherings was unmatched, whether she was playing bingo, chatting with friends, or simply enjoying the company of others.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Norma J. Peters and Robert Percy Peters, whose loving care and guidance shaped the joyful spirit she carried throughout her life.
She is survived by her brother, Chris Peters, and his wife, Bridgot Peters, who lovingly supported her in all that she did. She was a cherished aunt to her nephews, Bryce Peters and his wife Alyris, Baylen Peters, and her niece, Baylie Tagudar, along with many other family members and friends. Carol adored her family, and her love for them was evident in every interaction.
Carol's life was a testament to the profound strength found in the love and care of her parents. She thrived under their devoted support and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her warmth and laughter will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A graveside service will be held for Carol at Pine Crest Cemetery on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11 am. Family and friends will gather at Pine Crest Funeral Home to process to the cemetery.
