Brenda S Peters

Brenda Suzanne Smith Peters, born May 23, 1950, and was taken from this life on January 25, 2015, at the age of 64. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ernest Carl Peters, Jr. of 42 years. Brenda is a life-long resident of Tanner-Williams, except for the years traveling with her husband during the 20 years he served and retired from the U.S. Navy. Brenda had the toughest job in the Navy, being a Navy Wife.

Brenda is the daughter of Charles and Lexie Smith of Tanner-Williams (deceased). Brenda is survived by three brothers: Charles Dale (Jamie) Smith, Edward Dean (Beverly) Smith, and Vaudy Scott (Debbie) Smith, sister-in-law Dina C. Smith plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. One brother preceded Brenda in death, Timothy Shawn Smith.

We will all miss Brenda’s infectious smile and giggles which she was known for. We say so long for now from this life, to be welcomed and joined together again into our eternal home with our God Almighty! If you are not sure where you will spend eternity, then Brenda would want you to know her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so you too, can spend eternity with her in heaven! She loves Jesus so much; it can make a husband jealous.

Arrangements are: wake at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm, with the funeral services to be Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 2pm at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church on Palestine Road in Tanner-Williams. Grave site will be at Palestine Cemetary, next to the church.

Pallbearers are: Timothy Smith, Bryan Smith, Doug Smith, Cory Innabnit, Colby Smith, and Duane Bates. Alternates are: Garrett Smith, David Huggins, Steve Bates, and Sonny Cochran.
