Mrs. Barbara (Bobby) Lewis Daw, a native and resident of Mobile AL., died on the 11th of June 2014 at Robertsdale Rehabilitation Center, Robertsdale AL. Mrs. Daw was a member of the Fidelis Eastern Star and a member of Forest Park Bible Church in Mobile,Al. Barbara retired from Continental Motors where she was the first female aircraft mechanic hired when the company moved to Mobile in the early 70’s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Daw Sr., parents Rose and John Lewis, brothers John and Charles Lewis and sister Mildred Mayers. She is survived by her son, Ollie Edward Daw Jr., sisters Bonnie Howell and Dorothy Palmer, brother Joe Lewis and grandsons Adam and Sean Daw. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL. 36605. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Forest Park Bible Church, 1912 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605.
