Anne Marie Thuong Hoang

Anne Marie Thuong Hoang, our loving mother and wife has passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2023. She was born in Nam Dinh, North Vietnam and was a devoted mother, wife and a retired school teacher who was passionate in helping children excel in school to give them the tools to succeed. Her hobbies were gardening and taking pictures at the many family gatherings and events. She can make a single plant becomes several plants and would share them to friends and families to plant in their own yard. These plants are seen all around the neighborhood that she lived in.

Anne Marie Hoang was preceded in death by her Parents: Thu Van Nguyen & Mao Thi Tong. She is survived by her husband Duong John Hoang; Sons: Khai Hoang (Phuong), Khiem Hoang (Phuong), Khoi Bobby Hoang, and Khuong KeKe Hoang (Sarah); Six grandchildren: Emily, Matthew, Mary, Adelinh, Oliva, and Vinh; Her siblings: Nha Nguyen, Thinh Nguyen, Loc Nguyen, Vuong Nguyen.

Special thanks to USA Mitchell Cancer Institute and Gentiva Hospice, Beth and all the staff for their caring and support during the last months of her life. Special thanks all her siblings and her children who spent time being with her through long hours to help her and comfort her. Lastly, special thanks to Suzana who provided such heart felt loving care for Anne Marie Thuong Hoang.

Our family’s most respectful gratitude to the Venerable Thuong Toa Thich Quang Kien, Dai Duc Thich Minh Dao and Dai Duc Thich Minh Nhan of Lien Tri Buddhist temple of Mobile, AL for ushering the loving soul of our Mother to the Shining Lights of Buddha and to help her embraces peacefully the transition to her next life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 10am – 12pm at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. Buddhist Closing Ceremony will begin at 12pm. Interment will follow on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 2pm at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 Snow Road South, Mobile, AL 36695
