It’s been said that you learn the true nature of a person in the way they love, why they love, and what they love.
In every encounter, Bob approached life and business with love, compassion, and kindness.
His tender heart showed up often and his children had the gift of having been raised by a simple man who loved the Lord his God, with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and loved his neighbor as himself. He truly was love in action.
His favorite hymn says it best;
“ To the old rugged cross I will ever be true
It's shame & reproach gladly bear
Then he’ll call me some day to my home far away
Where His glory forever I’ll share"
Bob was true; to the old rugged cross, and to everyone he shared life with.
In the end, we all become stories, and Bob’s life story is one that ends with the words we all live to hear;
“Well done, good and faithful servant”
