Paula Rickers Smith will be missed by so many. Paula was born on February 18, 1951 in Long Beach, CA and graduated from Narbonne High School. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, auntie, step-mom, step-grandma, daughter-in-law and friend. She married retired Capt. Gerald Smith with whom she spent 49 wonderful years with in Irvine, CA. Paula was always full of life, loving and giving. Shortly after high school graduation, Paula became an international flight attendant for one of the greatest global airlines of its time – TWA. She went further in her career and was selected as one of their service managers on wide body aircraft. Her dedicated long career with TWA allowed her beautiful spirit and kindness to shine through to so many that she served, as well as her co-workers. She brought light and laughter across the globe. In 1987 she became a trusted and successful Realtor with Remax Premier Realty helping so many people find their home and received the prestigious Life Time Achievement Award. Paula served on her Community Association Board, was a longtime member of the Mission Viejo Country Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and was Chairman of the Navy Reserves Officer Ball in San Diego. She enjoyed reading, golf, playing bridge, sailing, skiing and going to lunch with family and friends. She was a proud Irvine resident, politically informed and was a Woman of God. When Paula was not on a cruise, vacationing in Hawaii or traveling around the world, she loved to be home with Jerry and her loving doggies. She is survived by husband Jerry, brother Raymond, sisters Janis and Beth. She had a full and fun life - albeit too short. Rest in Peace Paula - we love you with all of our hearts.
