God has a plan for each of us, and his plan was for me to meet Nancy.  Never could I have imagined that when I said good morning to my new neighbor that she would become my “sister”.  After a brief chat (the last brief chat we ever had) across the back yards, (new neighborhood, no fences), Nancy invited me up to see their newly installed spa. The rest is history.  We spent the day talking like we were old friends. We discovered our many common Cleveland connections including the fact that my mom and George’s sister Laurice were friends in high school! 
When our first child was born, Nancy and George honored us by becoming Greg’s godparents.  I learned so very much from Nancy with her common sense approach to life, including raising kids.  She even taught this new mom how to fold a cloth diaper!  Over the years I have repeated her sage advice to many others, always giving credit to the original source, Nancy.  
When I went through the most difficult times of my life, she was there for me, lending an ear and providing nonjudgmental support, encouragement and love.  
We laughed….oh how we laughed! Our private joke about Bellagio Drive (which will go to my grave with me), the Powder Puff bush fiasco, and George’s 2nd wife crying in her Cheerios…all fond memories of the time we spent together. 
My life is better for having known Nancy.    The sadness in my heart is for my loss, for Tom, Lynn and Jill, and for all of us who were fortunate enough to have had Nancy as part of our lives.   I will miss her laugh and our marathon conversations.  I will miss my friend, my sister.

So sad to hear this about Nancy. I was lucky to know her and George and to be in their wedding.  I will always remember her smile. She was a sweetheart. My love to the family and prayers for Nancy.

When I heard that Nancy had gone to Heaven, I pictured her beloved George greeting her with his wonderful grin. I met Nancy when she was made my nephew's Godmother and enjoyed her company through these many years. Nancy was humerous, caring, empathetic, practical, independent and so much fun. She was faithful to her faith and devoted to her family and friends. I am sure, now that Nancy is up there, that Heaven is a more wonderful, happy, fun place. Barbara Witcher

My dear friend, through the years we have shared many memories, laughs, tears and most of all the joy of true friendship.  Not sure how I will make it through without your warmth, hugs and conversations, that never seemed to end.   We all have been blessed to have known Nancy,  Rest in Peace my friend.

Im so sorry. Nancy and all of the Sadies are so nice. They must have been at the front of the line when God gave out kindness and unique personalities. Such a loving family led by George and Nancy. I am adopted and have always looked up to them as family. Nancy was always there when i needed someone to listen. I will miss her alot. I always tried to get her to try weed and quit smoking those skinny little shitstcks in the garage. She always laughed about it.  We loved to talk when I came down to visit . I loved her so much for being down to earth and always caring about others.  I will miss her dearly.   Joe Parker

Tom, Lynn, Jill & Sean,

I have many fond memories of Aunt Nancy and I will miss her dearly. I enjoyed our long phone conversations over the years. No matter what was going on she was always so upbeat and positive and gave the best advice. I loved all of our family events and gatherings we had throughout the years celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and weddings together. The times when Aunt Nancy and Uncle George came to Ohio to visit were the best! We had so much fun with them. I am blessed to have these very special memories. Aunt Nancy will always be in my heart, and I will forever miss her. May she Rest in Peace.

Deepest sympathies on the passing of Nancy.  She had been on mind so much lately and I regret not calling her to check in like I wanted to. I imagine her in heaven now, keeping George & Bob in line.  :-)

Loooved my auntie!!!  She was always upbeat and caring.  Even though we lived far away from each other, she would embrace me with a big heart and was interested to know what was going on in my life when I visited. Her smile and laugh will be remember well!!!!

Hopefully the Ohio State marching band will be playing a tune when Aunt Nance reaches heaven...

Christmas won't be quite the same without Aunt Nancys presence...she will be missed.
