Gregg passed peacefully from this life into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 12:06am, after an uphill battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family through the last days of his life, and passed away in the arms of his wife.
Gregg was born to Hank and Elaine (Moline) Thompson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on October 11, 1947. He lived in Great Falls, Montana, and then in Northern California as a youth. In 1978, he moved to Southern California where he begun work at Kawasaki Motors Corporation as a Hotline Supervisor. Gregg worked at Kawasaki for 32 years, until he retired in 2010.
Gregg was a husband of 26 years to his wife, Karen. He was a father to Jesse and Aaron, a step-father to Kali and Kirstyn, and also Allison and Aaron. A grandfather to Phoenix, Addyson, Aubrey, Andrew, Gracelyn, Hunter and Kenzi. A son-in-law to Raymond, a brother to Scott and Mark, and also Mary, Steven, David, Rochelle, Paul and Juliana. An uncle to Joyce, Timo, Esi, Daniel, Mathew, Amanda, Maddox, and Jayden.
