Bruce was born March 6, 1953 in Los Angeles California. He spent much of his early life throughout Los Angeles attending UCLA before moving to Orange County with his beautiful wife Cindy. In his professional life, he was employed as a controller in accounting with a variety of great businesses before finishing the last 20 years with KPRS Construction and their phenomenal team.
Bruce devoted his life to his daughter, Kristin and “bride” Cindy, spending much of his valuable time attending Kristin’s sporting events and traveling with his “barn buddy” all over the world. Kristin’s softball career would take him all over the country usually in the middle of summer and you could find him on the sidelines keeping stats because he was a numbers guy. He was her biggest fan and forever cheerleader.
His big heart was filled with joy when he could donate his time to the Golden Retriever Rescue (GRCGLA) as well as surrounding himself with his own Golden Pack that has changed over the years, yet never forgotten. Many would see him walking with his pack daily around his favorite spots in Mission Viejo. He could never have too many goldens.
Bruce was a man that knew a little bit about everything and his daughter would often joke that he learned it at “Dad University.” He was a Papa to his only grandson Cody who had an immediate love for his silly Papa. Bruce and his equally talented brother, Greg would spend hours discussing and tinkering the many variations of speaker electronics to make sure that when all would view a movie, you would get the “theater experience.” His key to life was to not sweat the small stuff and surround his friends and family with his endless humorous personality.
Those who knew Bruce have only fond memories of his witty conversation and constant desire to help. No matter how many times you refused his help, he would show up with materials needed and a smile to go with it. No matter who it was, he would always put them first before him and his warm demeanor will live on in all the hearts of his friends and family. He will be missed beyond words and honored indefinitely.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Robert Timbers.
Bruce is survived by his strong loving wife Cindy and brother Greg. Additionally, he left behind his daughter Kristin and son-in-law Steve, grandson Cody, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved goldens Monty, Jenny and Cooper.
Bruce would not want those to spend time mourning his death but celebrating his life that he created and enjoyed. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please chose to donate to his favorite furry rescue Golden Retriever Rescue of Greater Los Angeles.
