Bertram Reynolds Clarke

Bertram peacefully left this world on November 9, 2024 having lived a full and happy life with his wife, Jackie Tran of 30 years.

Bert was raised in Rueben, Massachusetts, when Bert turned 18 he moved to California and joined the service. He was the only son to Laura Louise Reynolds and Bertram Garfield Clarke.

After his honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1968, he worked for NCR while attending college and eventually achieved an MBA in Finance. Throughout his lifetime, he enjoyed an accomplished and satisfying career in sales well into retirement.

Bert met Jackie, the love of his life, on Christmas Eve 1994. Their first date was a week later, on New Year's Eve, Jackie had met her Knight and Shining Armour.

A year later on Dec 3, 1995 Bert and Jackie were married at the Marriott Resort Hotel in Dana Point which happened to be Bert's chosen hotel for business and pleasure. Bert and Jackie happily resided in Dana Point throughout their 30 year marriage.

He loved to travel the world with his wife but most especially he loved going back home to Maine. He loved hosting gatherings for family and friends, which brought him so much pleasure. He was an avid reader and history buff who enjoyed engaging in historical discussions. Bert was also a big fan of John Grisham and Stephen King novels.

Bert will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband, a caring son and a man of generosity, integrity and good will. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
