Norma L. Garcia

Norma was born October 29, 1957 to Ana Maria De La Garza and Conadad De La Garza.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Eduardo De La Garza.

Norma is survived by her sons; Gilberto Garcia Jr (Yomeida Garcia), Alberto Garcia, Angel Garcia, her granddaughter; Brianna Garcia, grandsons; Andre Garcia Medina, Andres Garcia, Azael Garcia, Jose Garcia, her sisters; Dora A. De La Garza, Celia Y. De La Garza, Esmeralda Ramos, her brother; Francisco De La Garza.

Norma ‘s biggest love and accomplishment was her three sons. She loved them fiercely and was always there for them. She loved spending time out with family and visiting her grandchildren. In the weekends you could find her playing bingo or out with her sisters shopping or having fun. She had a love for crossword puzzles and anything that kept her mind young. She took her role as big sister seriously and always made sure her siblings were doing good. She was a hard working woman who made sacrifices to make sure her family didn’t go without. Her kids always came first. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Norma will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A rosary will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. The visitation will continue Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A funeral will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A burial will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78572.
