LORENZO GREGORIO DELGADO McALLEN - "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us Rejoice and be glad in it." Ps. 118:24. On May 23rd, 2014 Lorenzo Gregorio Delgado was called home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord with all his heart, soul and might. He loved & cherished his wife of 67 years and left a strong Christian legacy for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Maria T. Delgado; children Maria Alicia (Salvador) Davila, Teresa (Leonel) Sanchez, Juan Lorenzo (Bertha) Delgado, David (Sandra) Delgado, Jerry Delgado, Estela (Robert) Vela, Robert (Janie) Delgado; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Honorato Delgado and by his sister Juliana Aguilar. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
