Lorensa was born in Harlingen TX, on August 10, 1938 to parents Jose Soto and Adela Castillo.
Lorensa is survived by her son, Apolonio Gutierrez; grandchildren, Apolonio Gutierrez IIII, Alejandra Gutierrez and Adriana Gutierrez and great granddaughter, Esther Gutierrez.
Lorensa worked for The City of McAllen for many years before retiring. She was a loving mother and grandmother who took care of all those around her. Lorensa was very devoted to her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters. Lorensa was also a devoted member of the Red Hat Society.
Lorensa will be greatly missed by family and friends.
