Gilbert Sanchez Jr.

In 1996 he met and married the love of his life, Melinda and together they had four children Justin, Aaron, Tamryn and Eli. He taught them to fish, select quality tools, love nature; family and to be grateful everyday. A constant love and smile for his children was never denied. He will be greatly missed during our children's marriage, birth of our grandchildren and high school graduation. His life long love for football will be missed. His tireless love and devotion to his family were admirable. Please hold him close, in your mind and your spirit as we do. His love of nature was fulfilled when he completed his licensure with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality. He was a Water Plant operator with Inframark in Weslaco, Texas.

A visitation for Gilbert will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573, followed by a rosary and funeral service at 7:00 PM.
