Born in 1921 in his beloved Chicago, Marvin served his country in WWII, was a POW survivor and recipient of the Purple Heart. A certified public accountant for fifty-eight years, he was blessed with two wonderful marriages; to Lorrayne for thirty-nine years and after her passing, to his caring, devoted Carolyn for twenty-five. These unions brought him the joy and love of a blended family of three generations:
his children by Lorrayne; Rick and Lissa, and their spouses, Diane and Dan; his step-children by Carolyn; Lori and Lynn and their spouses, Brent and Mark; eight blended grandchildren; Paul, Kelley, Kanin, Logan, Alexandra, Jake, Sydney and Seth; and four precious great-grandchildren; Ethan, Savannah, Cameron and Samuel. His sweet and optimistic nature will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
