Mom, I think about all the times you  drove me too school and you would drive really silly I’d get embarrassed and say mom just go  you would go stop go stop.. and you would laugh it was so silly I think about it  now and I giggle  I also remember the time we r rented a raft from ZUMA  beach and when I came back to shore you were no where to be found I looked everywhere I thought you left ..then I found you!!! I was so mad & happy at the same time then you said Jode I didn’t move not knowing I drifted in the ocean and still didn’t understand then I knew what ment…Thank you for all the good times we had  I miss you every day  ! I have thought a great deal about you, Aunt BarBara, this past weekend. I am so grateful to have spent time with you and Terry & family at Uncle Harry's memorial. It had been so many years since I had seen you. But immediately your intelligence, quick wit and humor, and especially your dignity shone brightly through. I love you Aunt BarBara. To my cousins, Terry, Jan, Tracy, and Jody, may you be filled peace and harmony through this very difficult time.

Mom, I know my thoughts are being sent to you and your hearing them…even though I can't see you I feel you.  You are my best friend and you inspired me to carry on your tradition of sending cards because that was very important, right down to the end, you never missed a birthday, or any kind of event…All the cards I've bought for you and never gave you I will keep safe!  I sure loved our trips to the doctors and especially going to Cedar Sinai….we made every thing we did together fun!  I love you forever…

I am so lucky and blessed to find such a wonderful friend as BarBara.  We had the best of times laughing and crying and comforting each other with our problems.I am going to be lost without her but she will always be with me in my heart. May God take care of her family and her because I know she's in heaven,Just waiting for me to pick her up and go to a casino..Love you lots.

With great affection and pleasure I think of all the wonderful days our families' shared special occasions, holidays and bbq's with the warm and charming BarBara Fox. I can still see the love and pride in her face at every baby shower, and will always remember her ingenious gift giving ideas. Mostly cherished, though, is how she was like a second mother to me, and I always looked forward to the "just right" cards she would send to commemorate birthdays and holidays. The world has lost someone very special. Our hearts go out to the entire family and all who knew and loved BarBara. She will be truly missed!

We were blessed to have known Barbara. We will miss her witty come backs, her soft smile and her loving advice. We enjoyed knowing her. Dominique, Noah and Sophia will miss their grandma's BFF! Our hearts go out to Emily-Mae, Terry and John who will be missing her even more. We are so proud of you Terry for all you did for your mom, you are a wonderful daughter. She loved you so much! Emily-Mae, Nana will always have a special place in our hearts, she will always hold a place of honor in our holiday get-togethers, girl beauty days and dance events. I am blessed to have BarBara as my dear friend for over 40 years and I have countless, wonderful memories of our times spent together. So many great family gatherings, special trips, shopping, girl talks and even having the same fellow as our husband (at different times)!!  Since we share the same last name, people would often ask if we were related.  BarBara would always invent a priceless response!   

 Her sense of style, humor, kindness and concern for others was second to none and I will forever be grateful for her friendship.

I feel very fortunate in having had Barbara Fox for a friend. Simply stated Barbara was the best of the best and this world while a good place to be will be a little less good with out her.  
  
  Barbara really lived right. She was one sharp and beautiful lady that touched many people's lives and one was left better for being in her presence. Barbara....Sending you love and I will miss you every day.

Barbara will be missed by so many.  Her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and many friends.  She was funny and sparkly and a giving person.  I was fortunate to have known her and we will all miss her.  May she rest in peace with God.
