For those of you who had the pleasure of hearing stories from Bill, you will know he was a true character. He was the person who always showed up late to family dinners but also was the one who stayed the longest. He loved spending time with family. He loved being with his animals as they gave him such pleasure watching the joy of life. He loved being surrounded by nature, even when he got into tussles with bears and cougars. He was a fearless person who had always approached every situation with kindness. He got to enjoy these things after he retired from plastering in his 60s. Bill loved to share stories of his time in the work force, going to New York, square dancing, boxing and experiences as a child. Bill was a deeply spiritual person who was always willing to share his beliefs. He was ready to join loved ones in Heaven. There are not enough words to share all of the adventures Bill had though out his life, but we would love for you to share stories of Bill at the future celebration of life or via email.
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to donate.salvationarmy.ca as Bill worked with the Salvation Army for many years of his life.
