Michael was born November 26, 1952 in Bourne, MA, son of the late Roger J. and Evelyn Labbe Melville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the American Legion Post 266 in Stanley and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knight’s of Columbus at St. John Neumann Church. He earned his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Pfeifer University and worked with the U.S. Government for many years. He enjoyed relaxing at the beach and fishing at the lake.
Survivors include his wife Debbie; a daughter, Theresa Lynn; granddaughter, Hope Lynn; sisters, Chele and Katie; brother Roger; late brother, Mark; mother-in-law, Cathy; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Service – Mint Hill Chapel with Fr. Paul Gary officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
