Steven Lyle Johnson

Steven Johnson, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend passed away at the age of 63 in his home on March 15, 2024. Born on May 21, 1960, Steve's life was a testament to love, compassion, and family bonds.

Steve is survived by his four children: Zachary (Anna-Marie) Johnson, Cheryl (Justin) Witten, Sam (Travis) Johnson, and Max (Kiersten) Bresnahan. His grandchildren, Hailey, Ryley, Aubrey, and Hazel, brought joy to his life and he cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to his immediate family, Steve is survived by his mother, Dorothy Burns, and siblings Sue Johnson, Tim (Debra) Johnson, Mary George, Jean Kukowski, and Joe (Kim) Johnson. Steve's family was the cornerstone of his life and he cherished their shared bonds of love and support.

Steve was a very talented artist and woodworker. After recently retiring from nearly 25 years at Aggressive Hydraulics, he and his brothers were working on renovating his home together. Working on projects with friends and family was one of Steve’s favorite hobbies.

Steve was loved by many. He was generous, caring, and had a sense of humor that would light up any room. Steve had more love for his family and friends than he could ever express and will forever leave a missing piece in their hearts.

Rest in peace, Steve. Your love will live on in the hearts of those you touched and your memory will be cherished for eternity.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Minnesota.
