Age 70 of St. Anthony

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather.

Died January 29, 2012, surrounded by his family, from seven year illness with PSP, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a fatal neurological brain disease which has no cure.

He was preceded in death by parents, Rae & George.

He is survived by wife of 46 years, Lennore; daughters, Melanie (David) Goodwyne; Melissa (A.Schultz); grandchildren, Gretta, Sylvia, Natalie and John; siblings, Randy (Carol), Douglas (Lynne), Penny (Louis Clark), Michele (Steve Wardell); sister- in-law, Olivia (Bylund) Smith; brother-in-law, David (Barbara) Bylund; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Roger loved life; faith, perseverance, and a strong sense of humor helped him live every day to the fullest.

Special thanks to Struthers Parkinson's Center for their medical, therapy expertise and the Club Create program; also to Lighthouse of Columbia Heights, Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck, and Health Partners Hospice.

Memorial Service at 11 AM, Friday, February 3, 2012, at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4120 17th Ave. So, Minneapolis, with visitation 1 hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Park Nicollet Struthers Parkinson's Center or Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Inurnment Sunset Cemetery.
