Ramone in his younger years enjoyed being outside with his friends as he attended Aquila Elementary (St. Louis Park, MN). He attended Robbinsdale Middle School, St. Louis Park Junior High School, Robbinsdale Cooper High School and Richfield Senior High School and achieved his diplomacy through a General Education Program (G.E.D.). During his school years, Ramone enjoyed playing on the football team for St. Louis Park. Ramone loved trying new things some of his hobbies included cooking his famous fried rice and salmon. He also loved playing video games and looking good.
Ramone loved his family and that was evident in his relationship with his siblings. One of his favorite things was hanging around his older brother where they shared many moments with a love for music and dance. Ramone became well rounded as he was able to blend in with his older brother’s dance community and music peers. He shared a special bond with his older sister where they shared everything together. Being raised as “twins” they enjoyed laughter, good food, being silly with each other and most of all they protected one another. While Ramone enjoyed the love from his older siblings, he was overjoyed with being an older brother to his younger siblings Gavin and Yara. He spent many hours watching movies and playing board games with them. Ramone was such a protector and made sure that everyone he loved was always good
In Ramone’s young life he was fortunate to be blessed with two beautiful daughters Laila (5) and A’siyah(2) whom he loved deeply. Ramone was a hard worker and whatever he put his mind to he was determined to get it done. Ramone took pride in becoming a better version of himself he was determined to get things in order and looking forward to his future. Ramone began his career as a construction worker which is ironic because as a child he loved the cartoon character Bob the builder.
On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Ramone transitioned to an everlasting life. He will be missed and forever loved by those he impacted in his wonderful life.
Ramone is survived by his mother: Melissa (Marcell) Davis and father Ramone (Ngo) Blue; grandmother, Kim Sandness; grandfather, Isiah Starks; brothers Damontiz Coleman (Erika Suarez), Axel Riley and Gavin Blue; sisters: Mariah Riley, Samone Blue (Austin) & Yara Blue; his two children: Leila Samone Renè Blue and A’siyah Tru Young; along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Ramone was proceeded in death by his grandfather Johnny Nunn and grandmother Shirley Blue; uncles Marlon and Aaron Nunn; and his beloved uncle Quincy Blue.
A funeral service for Ramone will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM, with a visitation starting at 12:30, at Sunset Kapala Glodek Funeral Home, 2250 St Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.
