Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Doris Ackermann; and son-in-law, Bob Nowak.
Marlys enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, and spending time with friends, neighbors and family. She loved family get togethers and watching the family grow. Marlys loved animals and adored all her “grand-pets.”
Survived by beloved husband of 47 years, Donald; son, David (Laurie); step-children: Mary Jane (Jim) Johnson, Donna Kinney (Walter Awada), Donald Kinney, Sue Nowak, Mark (Michelle) Kinney, Cheryl (Rick) Kaderlik; 18 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
Funeral services at 11am, Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery Chapel (2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Mpls MN 55418). Visitation held one-hour prior to the service.
