Linda Walker

Linda was born in Elmo, MO. She attended a 2 room country school in Shambaugh, IA. The family then moved to MN and lived with her grandparents, Ida and Gus where she also went to a country school. After a period of time, Paul and Lupe, her parents, moved to New York Mills where they resided for 8 years. Linda graduated from Deer Creek High School in 1969. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and volunteering at schools. She worked with special needs children. Linda’s first love was always her children and grandchildren. She loved to dance and joke.

Linda will be missed by her children, Bryan (Megan) Ellingson, Theresa (Darryl) Walker, and Adam Walker; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other family; and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 13 at 11am at Immaculate Conception, 4030 Jackson St NE, Minneapolis. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Attn: Patient Central, which was extremely helpful and supportive or the Animal Humane Society, the dogs have brought her so much love and comfort.
