Diane Marie Peterson

Diane Marie Peterson (age 83) died peacefully at her home in Faribault, MN, on May 7, 2023. She was born October 24, 1939, to Pete and Adelene (Plante) Peterson, of Minneapolis, MN, who have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brother, Ken (Rosanne) Peterson, of Rocklin, California, and her niece, Michelle (Dennis) Longshore, of San Jose, California, and nephew, Erik (Crystal) Peterson, of Denver, North Carolina. She is also survived by her Grand nephews, Pvt. Lassen Longshore (Ft. Riley, Kansas), Jaden Peterson and Caeden Longshore, and her nieces, Skylar Peterson, Madelyn Peterson and Harper Peterson

She is also survived by special cousins, Cheryl (DuWayne) Darnell, Mary Kay (Steve) Santos, Karen (Ken) Thielman, Paul (Ruth) Koelblinger (Kyle, Texas), and many cousins and extended family.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic community, 8701 36th Ave N. in New Hope, MN. 55427. Father Robert Hazel will preside. lunch will be served following the Mass.

Diane’s remains are to be buried at Sunset Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN, (55418) where she will be laid to rest next to her parents, Pete and Adelene Peterson.
