Laureen Marie Hennessy was born July 22, 1945 in Inglewood, California to Joseph and LaVon Hennessy. She passed peacefully on October 2, 2024.
Laureen (Laurie) was born and raised in Southern California and attended Morningside High School. After high school, she was hired by Continental Airlines at the young age of 19 to become a flight attendant. Laurie worked for Continental Airlines for 30 years, retiring at the age of 50.

She loved shopping, traveling first class, Dom Perignon Champagne and anything bling. Laurie always had a positive outlook and an abundance of energy. She was known for her generous spirit and devotion to family and friends. We will forever think of Aunt Laurie as our queen of the family with her bright red hair, infectious energy and ability to organize and excite those around her to give back to their community.
