All of us will miss our beautiful Marie. I had the privilege to work with her at Saint Anthony's. On a personal note. I'm so sorry to lose such a great lady. She was always so kind and thoughtful.  My condolences to her family. My prayers are with you.

My sister and I are so very sorry to hear of the loss of such an amazing woman. She was loved and will be missed by so very many of us. Rest in the peace and love our our Lord, Mrs. Matera.

Dear Mike Michael Stephanie and Matthew I send my deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of your beautiful Marie. As a young girl I was always in awe of Marie sh was beautiful inside and out. I was so thrilled to have been asked to be a bridesmaid to celebrate your wedding. I still wear the beautiful bracelet that

Heartbroken that dear Marie is no longer with us!  We worked in the Brookhaven Dept. of Law for years.  She was a joy to know and have as a colleague.  No matter how hectic things were, Marie was an island of calm competency.  I loved our noontime walks and her wonderful sense of humor.  She loved so many things in life and I know was much loved in return.   God will give you the strength to endure this terrible loss.  My deepest sympathy to Mike and her loving family.

Aunt Marie would light up any room she entered.  Kind, loving soul with a heart of gold.  She will truly be missed by my mother and I.  We have a lifetime of memories that will be treasured.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  May God hold them in his heart and hands during this sorrowful time.

Dear Matera family,

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of our dear "Aunt" Marie, who was such a special part of our childhood and our memories in Rocky Point.  She always welcomed us with a huge hug and a smile, she radiated love, and will be so dearly missed.  
I think for all of us, our fondest memories of Aunt Marie are when she, Aunt Carmella and our mom were together and would just laugh and laugh like teenage girls.
There is one more angel in heaven, and the 3 girls are together again.

A wonderful person..one of the nicest  i have ever met. I played MahJongg with her and we had many laughs along the way. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.

Aunt Marie, I cannot find the words.....You may not be here with us but you're light shines in each of us.  I have so many memories of you that I will cherish forever.  I will miss our long phone conversations and the comfort of knowing you were always there for me.  I am so broken hearted, I am trying to find some sort of comfort knowing the faith you had and I know that you are together with our family both here and in heaven. I pray for you, Uncle Mike and your children and grandchildren.  I know that you will always watch over your family.   I love you forever my sweet Aunt.
