To My Dearest Mum,  I can't believe I am writing this to you.  I am sorry it has taken so long.  Writing this to you confirms you are not here is person anymore.
Mom, thank you for always being there for me, never judging and always supportive, always loving me and our families.   You are the kindest person I have ever met.    I am honored to be your daughter.  Mom, I am not sure how the days ahead will go.  You were part of my everyday life.  I  looked forward to making you happy everyday .  I feel fortunate that you were able to live with me this past year.  
Mom, I still feel you, I still smell you, I still hear you.  I hope this feeling of you being with me, never goes away.    Rest in peace Mom,  I will hold you in my arms again one day.  I love you forever Mom.  Just rest for now.  Give Dad and all of our family and friends a big hug from me.  I hope you are all singing and dancing together in heaven. I am going to miss my wee sister and our phone calls and laughs we used to have about old times we used to have in Glasgow. Our wee singalongs to the old songs we used to know over the phone. I had a few fantastic holidays in America with Jean and family, who totally made me feel at home. It was lovely having my wee sister over in Scotland for a holiday. I still can't believe you are not here but I know you are out of any pain. I hope Annette, Janette and family are all coming to terms with losing their best friend but it will take time. I just want to thank you Mrs. Reyes for having the two most beautiful daughters.  Janet, Annette and I have been friends since junior high school and  I will forever consider Janet one of my closest friends for life. This is so hard to write because I have endless memories that mean so much to me. I remember how you used to get me off the bus everyday, come to my field days, and all the advice you’ve given me on the way. You were such a kind soul and there wasn’t a bad bone in your body. You liked everyone and I haven’t met a person that didn’t love you with all of their heart. You meant the world to our family and I don’t think we’ll over get over this. I’m just happy that the suffering is over. You finally get to see papa and your family. I know you’re watching over all of us I just wish I could see you one more time . I love you so much grandma till we meet again ❤️

The best days of my life were the days when I had nothing to worry about and you to raise us.  You always made sure we were fed, happy and got anything we wanted.  I can only think positive thoughts about you and will continue to do so.  Now that I have grown and can look back, having you raise us were the best memories of my life, there is a special spot in my heart for you that cannot be replaced.  You were more than a grandmother, you were a mother, responsible for all your grandchildren and that makes a strong person.  Thank you for the warm memories and everything you have done for me.  I feel more than blessed that you got to meet your great grandson, that meant so much to me.  If I could rewind to any point in my life, it would be the days I was growing up with you.  I love you grandma with all of my heart and I know we all will be together again one day.  

Auntie Jean.  This was a photo taken on the last night we spent with you in new York. It was a dream to come and see your life in America.  The whole family made us so welcome and feel so loved. I remember how you would arrive at Annette's early every morning to see us and we would just sit and have a wee chin wag with you. You were a good talker and always had something lovely to say. You gave me a wee furry dog with big blue eyes that i called wee Jeannie. It sat on my pillow and I said good night to you every night until my wee granddaughter fell in love with her and refused to leave her. Wee Jeannie was amongst  the first words she ever spoke. I look forward to telling her all about you. Frankie and I loved you dearly and have our special memories of you to share with our family. You will never be forgotten.  Good night sweet lady. Xxx

Grandma, I feel so lucky to have had so many great memories with you. You were not only my grandma, you were my best friend. You knew all of my secrets and you always kept them between the two of us. When I think about you not being here for my first date, for my prom, my highschool graduation, or any other event in my life it makes me so sad. I’m sorry I was not able to drive you around and take you to lunch like you did for me countless times. You know I would have the second I got my license, it was something I always looked forward to doing with you. I have so many memories and I will treasure them always. Two memories that we had were banging our toy cars together and making up silly games as we waited for the bus. You always got to my house early every morning and I was always in such a bad mood until I got into your car, it was just you and me just the way I loved it to be. We’d just talk about anything and everything and play with our cars and cards until the bus came.  Then I’d wait all day for you to pick me up from the bus and we’d take our secret trips to Mcdonald’s or Taco bell. No matter how hard we tried, mom always found out and we always got in trouble together! (Always worth it though for those Taco Bell nacho fries!) I hope that I always make you proud and you’ll always be up there watching over me… until we meet again, I love you forever grandma.

We always had the best times, together . Your face had such a glow  whenever the family was together. 
Whenever you walked into a room you looked so beautiful from head to toe. You were truly and always will be a beautiful person both inside and out. You never had a bad word to say about anyone.
You loved playing games and I’ll never forget the fun times especially when I caught you cheating lol you looked so innocent. Lolol 
And you loved went we went to Bingo..I don’t remember ever winning because we bought too many cards and couldn’t mark the numbers fast enough .now you're in bingo heaven…you will win every game. You were always there for me to talk to whenever I was down you always brought a smile to my face. 
I miss you so much already and a piece of my heart is broken.

I always admired the grace of your mom. She was so elegant, dressed and ready for the day.  I loved to hear her beautiful scottish accent when she spoke.  I also know how tough her resolve was to be there for her family, Jane knew what the most important part of life was - family and good friends.  I loved the lunches she always made for your dad- I was the recipient of a few that he didn't like and was afraid to tell her (chicken wings cooked in a delish tomato sauce).  A beautiful light has left us but her love goes on in her family and many friends.  ❤️ Meri Marone

Aunt Jane, what can I say? I’m  heartbroken over losing you. I still don’t believe it. I can still remember when we met. You and Tio Pepito were so young.To me it seems like everything happened so fast.  You were an instant hit with the family. I was so impressed how you learned some Spanish and spoke it with your Scottish accent, so funny. You learned so you could speak to grandpa. There are so many things I remember too many to put here. I think my favorite memory of you is that you always wore white pumps. I thought they were the coolest shoes ever.  The apartment you had after you got married was so nice, we were able to walk there from my house. I could go on and on. Aunt Jane you have taken a piece of my heart with you, you will forever be with me. How fortunate was I that you happened upon my uncle and became my aunt. For sure you were my favorite Bonnie Lass. Rest In Peace sweet Aunt Jane #foreverinmyheart

There are many memories of you my beautiful little Mum💙One memory I will never forget is.  For Carleigh’s 13th Halloween/birthday party.  I had no idea you even had a costume.  You knocked on the door and to my surprise, there in front of me stood you dressed up as a Flapper.  Your costume was the absolute best!  You looked adorable that night.. I will treasure all of the memories I have in my heart until we meet again Mum💙💙💙…..

I’ll never forget sitting on the back porch with you talking about your life and what you did to get here, we talked for hours. you were so proud of the life and family you created and it just amazed me the whole time. Coming in your room with little stevie and just talking about everything and anything. All the laughs and all the advice were the best with you. You were the best great grandma to the baby. I wish you could have been here longer with us. Thank you for loving and welcoming me with open arms since day one. There’s no one like you! I will miss you and that accent of yours so much. Little stevie & I love you forever! 

I have so many memories with my Janie, but one of the most recent was when I asked her to crochet me a blanket. She sent me to the craft store 3 times because I kept bringing back the wrong yarn! Eventually she had me FaceTime her and SHE picked out the yarn herself. Of course in Grandma Jane fashion,  she wanted the brightest funnest colors (we  settled on gray).   She never got the chance to finish the blanket, but I plan on learning how to crochet so it can be a blanket made by the both of us. It is something I will cherish forever! 

this all seems so unreal … you were always that parable person in my life that was around and no matter what because when  you were there everything was okay.  You were my real mom for a long time and watched me everyday until mid teens. And on top of that I loved you so much I couldn’t get enough of you I went home with you for the weekend. I was connected by the hip with you for so long. Butter rolls strawberry milk … ice cream and cones !!! You made me so happy and I don’t think anyone has shown me the unconditional love you have. I love you and the love you given has done nothing but made me so sweet inside. Because of you I know where I get my kindness from .. I love you with all my heart and I will always be thinking of you…. You are with papa now so it does make me feel better! But still feels really weird with you not being around !  You were the glue to our family … we are all going to miss you … you were my first real friend we spent a lot of time together and I couldn’t be any more grateful. I love you so much grandmama … forever in my heart. You will contiune to stay strong in my life no matter what…. I’m going to miss you so much …. But I know we’ll meet again … until then have fun. Say hi to your mom and dad and sister and your brother billy and Deff say hi to my papa … I miss you guys so much man… I love you grandma. Rest peacefully now …. I’ll see you soon ❤️❤️
