Tamera Wendy Briggs (née Lund), affectionately known as Tammy or Tam, passed away on August 15, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 67. Born on July 17, 1957, in Salt Lake City, she was a beacon of beauty, love, and talent throughout her life.
Tammy's passion for the outdoors was evident in her beautifully kept yard, her love for flowers, and the joy she found in bird watching. These hobbies were a reflection of her nurturing nature, not only towards her plants and animals but also towards her family, whom she loved deeply.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Glen, and was a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister. Her parents, Ruth and Jerry Lund, and her brothers, Jerry (and his spouse Jayne) and Dustin, will miss her dearly. Her grandchildren, Marcus Martinez, Alyssa Cook, and Talon LaFlemme, will hold onto the beautiful memories they created with her. Tammy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Ostler, whose memory will continue to be honored by the family.
Tammy's life was a vivid tapestry of love, care, and vibrant engagement with the world around her. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her to appreciate the beauty in life and to cherish every moment with loved ones. Her family is grateful for the shared memories and the love she bestowed, which will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched.
