Scott left his pain and suffering behind on April 19 in Austin, Texas. Survived by his dedicated loving Mother, Lynnette Rogers, Father Byron K. Nelson, Stepfather Byron Buck Rogers, Sisters Carrie Smith (Jason ), Stacey Hoogveldt, Brothers Craig K. Nelson, Mark E. Nelson & two half-sisters, Jesselyn (Jeremy)Smith, Sarah Nelson Saunders, and Dianna Goodman, his loving companion of 14 years. Scott worked for Home Depot for 15 years and always shared his passion and great knowledge. He was a loved and respected member of AA. He loved the outdoors: camping, fishing and hiking. He was an avid reader and a retainer of knowledge. Please join us in a celebration of Scott’s life in casual attire on Monday the 28th from 4-6pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on 3401 Highland Drive.
