Robert "Bob" Clarence Raynor

He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2023, at home after courageously battling Alzheimer’s.

Bob graduated from East High and attended BYU and the University of Utah. He was a highly skilled carpenter and mechanic and went on to build furniture, apartments, duplexes, and homes in the Salt Lake area.

Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was a generous and caring man that always saw the good in people. He spoke kindly of others and was always there to lend a helping hand. He deeply loved his family, along with racing corvettes, boating, camping, skiing, and tennis. Bob’s dry humor caught many people off guard and kept many others laughing.

Bob is survived by his Spouse, JoAnn Dean, his two children: Heidi Raynor Eskeli (Tim), and Robert Lance; and his grandchildren: Anneli, Sierra, Zachary, and Lindsey. Bob is survived by Siblings: Jack (Joan), Harvey (DeeAnn), and Peggy Bernal (Phil), JoAnne Simpson (deceased). He will be deeply missed and forever hold a place in our hearts.

A viewing prior to the memorial service will be held at Wasatch Lawn November 11, 2023, Located at 3401 S. Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT from 12:00-12:45 pm followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Bob life in the Chapel at 1:00 pm.
