6/02/1917 ~ 8/7/2011
June Rowsell Fuller was born on 2 June 1917 to Walter Rowsell and Alice Ann Cundick in Salt Lake City, UT. June died of natural causes on 7 August 2011, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of ninety-four.
June married Henry Hazelgren in Salt Lake City on 2 June 1937, later divorced. She married Edward L. (Ned) Fuller in Salt Lake City on 12 December 1947.
June worked as a beautician for many years and was a Granite School District Lunch Manager for sixteen years. She loved to golf and bowl with her life-long friends. She served a president and held other offices in her league at Bonneville Golf Club and served as bowling league secretary for six years. Ned and June loved to travel internationally (at least as much as they did their little Ming-Toy (shih-tzu)), and did so extensively after retirement.
She actively served in church callings including primary teacher and secretary, stake primary secretary, Beehive teacher, age group councilor, MIA President, Relief Society Secretary and first councilor, Sunday school secretary and coordinator, Ward Librarian and visiting teaching supervisor.
June was known by all for her kindness, sense of humor, great memory and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ and (among fortunate family and friends) her wonderful hand-dipped chocolates.
June is survived by her sons Darryl (Midge) Hazelgren and Edward (Susan) Fuller; and daughter Debra K. Jackman; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son David (Sally) Fuller; sisters Leah, Elsie, Zelda, and Reola and brother Orville.
The family expresses thanks for all those who have loved and helped care for June while at the Highland Cove Retirement Center. Graveside services will be held Thursday 11 August 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday evening 10 August 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
