Joseph Keith Harker, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Salt Lake City. He was born April 23, 1927, in Bingham, Utah, to Joseph H. Harker and Bertha H. Harker. He married Doris M. Green on August 20, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy where he received the Purple Heart and one cluster. He retired from Kennecott Copper with after 43 years as a master mechanic and foreman. He kept busy keeping neighbors', friends' and family's cars running. He will be missed greatly. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife, Doris; his daughter, Robyn (Kerry) Atkinson; his brother, Calvin Harker; and grandchildren, Andrea (Michael) McCloy, Ryan Whipple, Christopher (Julie) Atkinson, Samantha Atkinson, and Lance Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his sons, Richard Harker and Troy Harker.
