JoAnn Booth Saunders, born July 2, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry Smith Booth and Alberta Ruth Booth, passed away March 9th, 2021. She is preceded in death by Ron Saunders (husband), Jasmine Millerberg (granddaughter), and Dylan Kevin Vrooman (great grandson). She is survived by her three children: Scott Pruyt (Jolene), Ryan Pruyt (Noreen), Pam Pruyt-Millerberg (Monty); brother: Harry Booth (Sharon); grandchildren: Alicia Mitchell, Garrit Pruyt, Bryce Pruyt, Magen Vrooman, Whitney Safford, Courtney Tomlinson, Elizabeth, Philip, Collin, and Kade Millerberg; and great-grandchildren: Atley, Owen, Joseph, Ivy, Avery, Hans, Everest, Holly, Lucy, Grayson, Sawyer, Taytum, and Havynn.
JoAnn had a special way of connecting to people, she cared deeply for them and was very grateful for friends and others who helped her and were a part of her life. As a young girl she enjoyed spending time with her grandmother and would reflect on memories of being a tolman to collect votes at her grandmother's home. She was honored to be a flower girl to aid in assisting Spanish War Veterans. JoAnn graduated from West High school with honors. She enjoyed painting, reading and traveling. She served as a hostess, public opinion surveyor, and volunteer at the hospital. She gave her whole heart and unconditional love to her family and children. She was resilient and witty. JoAnn will be remembered for her endless prayers, sweet spirit, and her strong, beautiful love for our precious Lord and Savior.
We know she is rejoicing with the Lord in heaven.
