Jane Darlene Findley returned to her heavenly home on November 2, 2022. Darlene was born May 17, 1932 at the Park City Miners’ Hospital in Park City, Utah. She was the fifth child born to William Dudley White and Drucilla Josephine Halliday White. As a young child, her family moved frequently. When she was ten years old, they bought a house in the Brickyard area which would become her home for life. Darlene attended local schools and at nineteen she married Arthur Eugene Findley in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had one son and later divorced. With hard work, tenacity, and the help of her family, she raised Jeff to adulthood as a single parent. Darlene loved her family, serving others, gardening, and was always a hard worker. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and taught the Sunbeam Class (3-year-olds) for over thirty years. Darlene was happiest when she was spending time with her family or working in her yard. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank the many relatives, neighbors, and ward members who have served her through the years.
She is survived by her son: Jeff Findley (Janet); granddaughters: Raelyn Findley, Julie Bollwinkel (Jeffrey), and Liz Wilkinson (Richard) and great- granddaughters: Katie, Emma and Sarah Smith. She is also survived by her brother Tom White (Joanne); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Bill, Bob, Don, and Dick White; and her sister Edith Folker.
