Casey was born in Salt Lake City, UT on September 30, 1987, to Scott and Nancy Bateman. He attended Riverton High School in Riverton, UT and graduated in June of 2006.
Casey was an avid hunter of all things, but his passion was duck hunting. He loved camping, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed snow skiing—being on the mountains and on the slopes. His favorite times were spent with his wife, Cara, their dog, Shelley, his friends, and his family.
Casey is survived by his wife, Cara Miller Bateman and dog, Shelley; his mother, Nancy Liska Bateman; his uncles and aunts, Russell Bateman, Hank and Jan Perkins, David and Donna Liska; cousins, Matt Liska, Angie Lawrence, Ben and Sabrina Baker. He is preceded in death by his father, Scott Bateman; and grandparents, Jim and Lila Bateman and also John and Virginia Liska.
He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. In the words of Hank Williams, Jr., “a country boy can survive” in our hearts forever.
Graveside Services will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
