Andrew passed away by suicide peacefully on April 8, 2023, at the age of 41, after a long, quiet struggle with depression. He was a wonderful husband, an amazing friend, a great son, a thoughtful brother, and a kind person. He will always be remembered as the guy who could make you laugh and never took life too seriously. We celebrate his life knowing he is at peace now and no longer struggling.
Andrew will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Samantha Stolworthy, and their fur babies, Truffle, Ocean and Edna. They shared many adventures together, across the country and around the world. She will always remember how fearless he was in all his life's pursuits, always willing to take the big risks.
He was born December 24, 1981, and survived by his dad Jay Stolworthy and step-mom Cindy Stolworthy. Forever remembered by his sister Amanda and her children, his brother Jason and his wife Tiffany and their children, his sister Melissa and her husband Jamey and their children, , brother Lloyd and his fiancé Anne and their family, and brother Corey and his wife Ilene and their children. He is now reunited with his mom, Merri Lynn Arave Stolworthy, who was also taken from the world too soon.
A special mention of his greatest friend, John Page and his wife Mikey, and the Page family, who were his second family, also mourn with us at this time.
Andrew grew up in Idaho and no matter where his adventures took him, he never stopped loving Boise. His earliest success was starting the business Boise Milk while attending Boise State and he continued the tradition of being 'Milkmandrew' with his business ventures over the last 20 years. He leaves behind an impact on the Salt Lake City Community, with his contribution of two businesses Wasatch Milk and Cream'd Ice Cream.
He loved the rolling farms of the Pennsylvania countryside, riding motorbikes in the mountains of Thailand, and video game nights with the boys. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on construction projects with his dad. His wife will always remember the competitive game nights of SkipBo and the late nights watching fireflies during Pennsylvania summers. There aren't enough words to express the positive impact he had on everyone around him and a lifetime of memories we will cherish.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Boise at a later date, including the honoring of his wish to have his ashes scattered at Table Rock. He will also have a place beside his mom in Shelley, where a headstone will be erected for anyone to visit and his wife will honor him and pay special tribute by spreading his ashes in Thailand and Pennsylvania. Information regarding services will be announced at a later time.
Andrew will be greatly missed by everyone and our hearts are broken from his unexpected passing. We take comfort that he is resting peacefully now and no longer has to be in pain. His last wish asked us to take care of each other and to make the world a more loving place. We love you Andrew.
