Willie Stephen Brady

Willie “Bill” Stephen Brady was born on 12 May 1946 in Jasper County, Mississippi and died on 20 October 2015 in Richmond, Virginia after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was the son of Willie Brady and Josephine Esther Bedford Brady. Bill is survived by his wife Geraldine Yoshimura Brady and son Patrick Brady. Bill is also survived by his two sisters Ida Ruth Edmondson-Johnson and Janice Colleen Brady as well as his nephew, Brian Abraham Kilburn Edmondson, great-nephews Samuel Owen Edmondson and James Brian Edmondson and great-nieces Angelica Edmondson and Claudia Edmondson. Bill attended Foothill High School and was a graduate of Fresno State University in California, Bill served his patriotic duty in the Army in Viet Nam, retiring from the International Reserves. Bill was a Revenue Agent for the IRS. Bill is descended from several Revolutionary War Patriots including William Robert Brady and Hugh Brady of Pennsylvania; Thomas Bedford, Thomas Buckner, Samuel Hawes, Sr., William McClanahan and Henry Clay of Virginia; Samuel Walker, Michael McCarty and Edward Laramore of South Carolina. Bill will be buried in Randall Hill Cemetery in Jasper County Mississippi next to his parents. Bill’s sense of humor will always be remembered along with his devotion to his family.
