Toni Boyce Norton, 71, of Chesterfield, VA born December 5, 1950 in Winchester, VA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Stanley Boyce and Audrey Bayliss, stepmother Dolores Drinkard-Chester, husband Monte Norton and brother Phillip Boyce.
She is survived by husband Richard (Jim) Bailey, daughter, Amber Lucas (Leonard) their children Leo, Chelsey, Haley and Tyler, son Daniel Evans (Emilia) and their children, Emilyne and Andrew, stepdaughter Caitlin Melton (Chris) and their children, Caleb and Hailey, stepson Brendan and son Charlie, sister Vonne Hutto (Randy), brother Stanley (Chip) Boyce (Janina), sister Carla Boyce and a multitude of nieces, nephews, friends, family members, and her beloved dogs Ziva and Shorty to treasure her memory.
Toni was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School, Northwestern University for her undergraduate studies, and Virginia Commonwealth University for her Masters of Business Administration. She led an extraordinary 32 year career in civil service with the Department of Defense - Defense Logistics Agency, first at Fort Lee then later at Defense Supply Center Richmond where Toni was inducted into the Defense Logistics Hall of Fame.
She touched the lives of so many; from her extensive career, to her decades as a breeder of Golden Retrievers and French Bulldogs, but especially in her role as an unparalleled mother and grandmother.
Join us to celebrate Toni, Mom, “Mema” on Sunday, July 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel Midlothian, VA , where there will be an informal service.
