Patricia Owen Harrington

Harrington, O. Patricia 73, of Richmond, VA passed away on January 21, 2014 after a brief illness. Born in Richmond, VA., the daughter of Henry Bruce Owen and Alice Sandys Owen. She was also preceded in death by her husband William H. Harrington Jr. She is survived by her sons William (Trey) Harrington (Cathy), Mark Harrington (Theresa) and Bryan Harrington. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Megan, Clay, Kelly, Cary, Katie, Sam, Lizzie, David, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was a member of Bon Air Baptist Church. She was a vocalist in the “New Life Trio”, a musical group, which shared the Lord’s gospel through song. In 1989 she pursued a career as an airline attendant working for United Airlines. She retired in 2005 after working as a private contractor in the aviation department with CSX Corporation, Heilig Myers, and Philip Morris, USA.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Woody’s Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 24, 2014 at the funeral home with internment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
