Louise Catherine White

She is survived by her husband, Johnny White, mother, Mary Ann Robertson Boyd, and brother, Matt Boyd. Also surviving her are her Uncle “Brother” (Edward) and Aunt Kathleen Robertson; cousins DD and Dave Ross, Geoffrey, Meagan, Emma, and Ellie Ross; Joe, Jessica, and Avery Ross; John and Jamie Ross; Ned Robertson, Brian, Bonnie, and Aydin Robertson; Shane, Carolina, Elizabeth, and Parker Robertson; Heather and Stephen Hartley, Kaitlyn Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Carson Sullivan, Hannah Hartley, Chloe Hartley, Connor Hartley, and Brian Hartley. Cathy is also survived by siblings Ramona Moffat, Carla Stearns, and Roland Fernandez, and by many other cousins including Elaine D’Amato and Susan Cook, and lifelong friends from West Virginia: Shelly Turner Rodriguez, Julie Evans Evanto, Joyce Jamison Strakal, Johanna Harpell Estes, and from Virginia: Stephanie Walton and Tracy Meinhard. Last, but certainly not least, Cathy leaves her beautiful cat, Gracie.

Although Cathy was born in Virginia, she considered herself a true West Virginia Mountaineer. She treasured her years in Hamlin and Morgantown, graduating from Morgantown High in 1981 and attending Fairmont State College for one year.

Cathy started her working career as a teen, donning a too-big cap at Long John Silver’s in Morgantown. She had been working at the Richmond Circuit Court for 18 ½ years and was excitedly looking forward to retirement in two years. “I have a plan,” she said...

A Celebration of Life honoring Cathy will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 10:30-12:30 at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, VA. Following this, Cathy will be laid to rest in the Cartersville Cemetery in Cartersville, VA beside her Grandma Doris Parker Robertson and near her birth mother, Jean Parker Williams. Rest in peace, our dear Cathy, as you join your dad Bob Boyd, who passed away four months ago.
