Joel D. McManus

On Monday, February 6, 2023, Joel McManus took his final breath, surrounded by loved ones. Joel lived a full and warm life, filled with joy and celebrated accomplishments. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Joel is survived by his wife Dorothy; three children, Denise, Dean, and Keith. Three grand-children, Joey, Ryan and Shannon; daughter-in-law, Carol and son-in-law Jamie and many other relatives and friends. He was the most loving spouse, father and friend anyone could ask for. Joel quickly rose through the ranks in the military with 26 years of active duty service. Following his retirement from the military, Mr. McManus built a successful business located in Richmond, Va. and retired to South Carolina in the late 1990’s. He will be forever in our hearts, loved and remembered. We love you very much!
