Joan was a true optimist, a gifted storyteller, a loyal friend, a wonderful caregiver and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the heart of our family, a kind and warm person and incredibly gracious. She used to say that her father never met a stranger but the same can be said of her. Joan, Joanie, JJ, Mom, Gran will be missed deeply by all of us. Rest in peace, sweet lady
