Jack Lee Stamper

Jack L. Stamper passed away, peacefully, on March 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Durphy and Frances Stamper, his sister, Shirley Blankenship, brothers, Billie, Ray, Vernie and Dale Stamper. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty (Cookie) Stamper, sons, Fred Stamper (Cheryl), of Supply Va., Rusty Stamper (Helena), of Reston, Va., his grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Johnson, Amanda Stamper, Jimmy Stamper and Katie Stamper. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Addi and Graham Johnson. He will be fondly remembered as Papa Jack by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and neighborhood children. A special thank you to the Bon Secour Hospice staff and Hospice House Staff on Old Bon Air Road in Chesterfield County for your kindness and consideration. A Celebration of a Life Well Lived for Jack will be held on May 6th at Huguenot Park, Shelter 1. We will grill his favorite hamburgers at 12:00 pm and have a brief service at 2:00 pm. Please join us.
