

Born January 17, 1942, in Hollywood, California, he was a cherished resident of Midlothian for 20 years.
Don graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964. He was a dedicated Mid-Atlantic Regional Distribution Center Manager for Xerox Corporation for 30 years before his retirement in 1999. Post retirement he was a devoted HOA president for 3 years for Tarrington and newly appointed president for The Grove at Lucks Lane. Don was also a faithful volunteer for 18 years for Bon Secour St. Francis Hospital. He was known for his guidance, wit and unwavering commitment to his family & friends. He was a passionate USC Trojans football fan, 15-year University of Richmond Spiders football season ticket holder and always enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially watching his kids and grandkids playing sports.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Sandy; his children, Don (Beth), Kelly (Alexander); his grandchildren, Taylore, Trey, Asheley, Summer & Bobby “RC”; great grandchildren, Jackson & Skylar; by sister-in-law, Faye; nieces, Carme (Jim), Beth (Sam); nephews, Scott (Carol), Scott & Brent. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Herbert & Ruth Vossler; his brother, Herbert “Bud” Vossler; father-in-law and mother-in-law Harold & Betty Mullen; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hankins.
A celebration of life service will be held on March 27, 2025, at 11:00am at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
