He was an avid hockey fan, he loved The Richmond Generals and Drury University Men's Hockey Team and would travel miles and miles to watch his kids play hockey and help the referees make consistent calls. He will be fondly remembered for his grill skills and one liners, how he would bang his wedding band on the glass at the ice rink and how he could make any situation a laughable moment, but most of all he will be remembered for how ferociously he loved his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, November 17 at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 18 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1401 Old Hundred Road. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Gardens.
