Thomas "Claude" Stewart was born July 24,1949 in San Diego, California to parents Clyde and Mary "Libba" Watkins Stewart.
Claude is survived by wife Kerrie Braungardt Stewart, daughter Kelly Stewart Matheson and husband Andy Matheson. Grandchildren Robert Aaron Matheson, Liam Thomas Matheson and Andrew "AJ" Stewart Matheson.
His hobbies included golf and woodworking. He taught himself from watching the New Yankee workshop and learned to make beautiful furniture. He loved being outside-even yard work. He excelled at sports in Jr high and high school.
Claude was a Vietnam veteran and respected business/salesman. He loved talking about baseball and history with his daughter and grandsons. He loved traveling and watching sports with wife Kerrie. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Claude is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Libba Stewart and his brother Norman Stewart.
Visitation be held Friday July 29, 2022 from 2pm -3pm at the Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home 4616 N Big Spring St. Midland, Texas 79705. Funeral services will be held at 3pm.
