Ruby was born October 4, 1915 in Woodson, Texas to pioneer settlers, Louis Franklin and Daisy Beulah Taylor Everett. She was the last of five children. She married Horace Beatty Terrell in 1932. Ruby was a strong, hardworking and a loving Christian mother. She lived in Crane, Texas and raised her family. Ruby later moved to Odessa, then on to Hobbs, New Mexico, where she was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. She moved to Midland and worked at Christy’s Boutique until moving her business home where she met many friends. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church until she moved to Helen Greathouse and on to Mabee Center until her death.
Ruby was blessed with and is survived by a son, Kenneth Terrell and wife Patty of Tyler, Texas; daughters, Patsy Terrell Causey and Marion of Midland, Brenda Terrell Hummell and husband Ralph of Odessa; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; three nieces; three nephews; and one sister in law. She was preceded in death by a great grandson.
