Janna L. Way Ross

Janna graduated from Andrews High School in 1953 and moved to Midland where she worked for Signal Oil Co. On February 20, 1959 Janna married Robert B. Ross in Midland where they raised their two children before retiring to Hill Country in 2007.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Ross Bertini and her husband Christopher Bertini and grandchildren Hunter Ross Cherryhomes, Ian Heath Cherryhomes, Ellie Claire Cherryhomes; great granddaughter Cameron Nicole Cherryhomes and son Brantley W. Ross and his wife Karen K. Ross.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert B. Ross, mother Beatrice Burton Stairs and father Howard Walker Way, Sr. and brother Howard Walker Way, Jr and his wife Pat Way, nephew Howard Walker Way III and step mother Mary Way and stepfather Boyd Stairs.

Janna was a member of the St. Luke’s Methodist Church, Children’s Service League, Permian Basin Land wives Auxiliary, Lawyers Wives, West Texas Geological & Geophysical Auxiliary, Midland Symphony Guild, Green Thumb Garden Club and D.A.R -Daughter of America Revolution- Lt. William Brewer Chapter.
