Edna Mae Jackson-Johnson

Edna was born May 27, 1938, in Hearn, Texas to Ernestine Jackson and Marie Killings Johnson. Affectionately known as 'Mama Nancy', she worked in the kitchen at Wee Care #1 Learning Center for many years and enjoyed bringing a smile to the faces of the children she came in contact with daily.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, son Buford Lewis, daughter Dorothy Jordan and grandsons Kristopher Jordan and Aaraine Johnson

She will be forever cherished in the lives of her surviving children: Charles Johnson, Harvey Jordan (Rachel), Ben Jordan (Donna), Edna Jordan, Beverly Jordan, Nathan Lewis, Loretta Jones (Andrew), Loraine Lewis, Lorenza Lewis (Diane), Bobby Lewis and Charlie Lewis (Christina), 36 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, as well as her companion of 14 years Mr. Henry Alexander

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Goodwill Baptist Church at 1508 S Main St, in Midland, with Pastor Kenny Johnson officiating.
